Death Salad Productions is a name that makes me want to laugh like a cartoon villain.

I’m in the entertainment industry. I do graphic design, make art and the name entertains ME and some people close to me.

If you’re curious, the origin story involves a stand up comedy show I was performing on, trying to speak to the host with my yap full of half-chewed salad and then nearly choking because I’m smooth that way. It happened twice because it was a very large salad.

And, we’re married now. No, not to the salad, to the man-host, Lorne Cardinal. Who am I? Monique Hurteau.
