Here’s the legalese version below.

We have a policy prohibiting the acceptance or consideration of materials, creative ideas or suggestions of any nature other than those specifically requested or commissioned by DEATH SALAD.

Please note that any materials including, without limitation, creative ideas, stories, screenplays, articles, concepts, notes and suggestions (collectively, the “Materials”), submitted to DEATH SALAD PRODUCTIONS in spite of this policy shall be destroyed without being read or reviewed. None of the Materials shall be subject to any obligation by DEATH SALAD PRODUCTIONS and DEATH SALAD PRODUCTIONS shall not be liable for the use or disclosure of any such Materials.

By submitting the materials despite this disclaimer, you are indemnifying DEATH SALAD PRODUCTIONS, and its respective successors, licensees and assigns, employees, contractors and content providers, from and against any and all liability, damages and costs arising from the use of materials containing elements similar to or virtually identical with those contained in the Materials.

If you’re looking for an “in” or an intro to established industry professionals, it’s best you attend festivals, training and industry networking events.

Generally, no. If you’re looking for a producer and/or financing to help get your project made, we aren’t the right company.

The Film/TV projects we work on are usually into the millions of dollars and take years to get made. On projects like these, we work with well-established industry people or people we already have long-standing relationships with.

No.

There are plenty of people out there who want this work, who are trained in equity + diversity and are ready and willing to help you.

No, we won’t introduce you or suggest anyone. It’s not our area.

No, we won’t be interviewed, speak on a panel or be on any advisory related to this area. So, please don’t ask.

Again, there are people seeking out this work. Please put out a general call for them and they will find you.
